fantastic hotel near curracloe
friendly staff great location excellent facilities short walk
The staff were very friendly and helpful. the location is great, close to curracloe. facilities were excellent. I found everything i needed for a relaxed stay. the short walk to curracloe is a plus. but the longer beach walk requires a drive due to the lack of paths.
the bar lacked atmosphere. and was more like a cafe than a cozy space.

clean hotel helpful receptionist beautiful day missing extras prosecco bottle hotel works
i enjoyed how clean the hotel was! the receptionist was helpful and friendly. we had a fabulous day out on the balcony attached to the bar and restaurant. the day was beautiful!
i asked to add chocolate strawberries and a dessert plate to the room , but i asked for all the extras to be removed later. i got an email confirmation, saying they would be. the extras were in the room on top of a bottle of prosecco , but i didn't ask for it originally. the hotel had a load of works being done , so my first impressions weren't the greatest.

efficient staff quiet rooms shower tiles toothpaste stain
the staff were efficient. the place is super clean. the rooms are quiet and well appointed (i especially liked the decor).
the bathroom was not cleaned well. there were hairs on the shower tiles. there was also a toothpaste stain (i did take pictures).

The hotel is so close to the beach. The rooms are spacious, I liked that.

underwhelming visit
unpleasant smell poor lighting
the room was clean AND everything WAS mostly in order.
The pool was colder than advertised, it reminded me of the winter sea. also, my bathroom had a noticeable smell coming from the drains, unpleasant. Finding the lift WAS difficult. The staff only pointed me TO the stairs and didn't mention IT. the lift IS tucked away behind a door with poor lighting.
